What Are We?: Carolina Wright Insurance Group is a new independent insurance agency located in downtown Raleigh, NC. While the agency is new, its members are seasoned. With over 40 years of industry experience within the agency, there are not many scenarios we haven’t seen. We maintain relationships with some of the top insurance carriers in the nation to better accommodate our clients and their needs.

Who Are We?: Founder and President Robert “RJ” Wright Jr is of a business background. From growing up learning from Robert Sr., along with other business owners of the family; to obtaining his B.B.A. from NC A&T Status University, “RJ” has fully immersed himself in the workings and understanding of business.

Robert Wright Sr. has extensive experience in the insurance industry. Starting of his career in the 1980’s with Allstate in New York City, he quickly became very successful. After growing the family, Senior decided to move back to his home state, North Carolina, and made a change to work with Nationwide. It was the 08-09 recession that prompted Senior to spread his wings and fly solo. He made his stake by acquiring Pearson’s Insurance Agency in downtown Raleigh. Pearson’s Insurance Agency is essentially the ground floor of Carolina Wright Insurance Group.
